Lattice QCD with chemical potential: the properties of hadrons at the extreme conditions

چکیده

A new technique to investigate small chemical potential effects on hadron quantities using lattice QCD simulations is developed. A Taylor series expansion of hadron screening mass in µ/T is used. It is successfully applied to study the properties of nucleon, pseudo-scalar and vector meson screening masses around the deconfinement phase transition at finite baryonic density by evaluating the Taylor coefficients with respect to the iso-scalar (µ S = µ u = µ d) and iso-vector (µ V = µ u = −µ d) chemical potentials, where µ u and µ d are u and d quark chemical potentials, respectively. We simulate 2-flavor lattice QCD with staggered fermions on a 12 2 × 24 × 6 lattice with ma = 0.025, 0.05 and 0.10. The meson screening mass after chiral extrapolation is presented. c Copyright owned by the author(s) under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike Licence. Data Envelopment Analysis from simulation on the Lattice QCD using CCR model

One of the most serious principles in production theory in economic is the principle of "efficiency". Simply put, efficiency can be defined as the demand that the desired goals (outputs) are achieved with the minimum use of the available resources (inputs). In order to, distinguish the relative efficiency of organizational units with multiple inputs to produce multiple outputs, "Data Envelopmen...

Lattice QCD at Finite Temperature and Density

1.1. Preface There are many reasons to study a complicated interacting field theory like QCD under extreme conditions, eg. at finite temperature and/or nonvanishing baryon number density. Of course, first of all we learn about the collective behaviour of strongly interacting matter, its critical behaviour, equation of state and thermal properties of hadrons as well as their fate at high tempera...

Hypercentral Constituent Quark Model and Isospin for the Baryon Static Properties

So far the static properties of hadrons have been introduced in various models. The static properties of hadrons (charge radius, magnetic moment, etc.) are useful for understanding the quark structure of hadron. In this work we have introduced the hypercentral constituent quark and isospin dependent potentials. Here constituent quarks interact with each other via a potential in which we have ta...

The Density of States Method at Finite Chemical Potential

To clarify the phase diagram of QCD and thus the nature of matter under extreme conditions is one of the most interesting and fundamental tasks of high energy physics. Lattice QCD has been shown to provide important and reliable information from first principals on QCD at zero density. However, Lattice QCD at finite densities has been harmed by the complex action problem ever since its inceptio...

I review the results of hadron spectroscopy calculations from lattice QCD for an intended audience of low energy hadronic physicists. I briefly introduce the ideas of numerical lattice QCD. The various systematic errors, such as the lattice spacing and volume dependence, in lattice QCD calculations are discussed. In addition to the discussion of the properties of ground state hadrons, I also re...
